Taken from their latest album, High Slang, 'Here Come The Popes' is a historical-indie-mentary set in the 11th and 12th centuries. It's a fact-filled romp the likes of which you rarely hear and it's certainly refreshing. The unusual instruments add a little something to this song too - the kind of string sounds you just don't hear these days.
The story-telling style of bardary continues throughout the single, strongly positioning Sergeant Buzfuz as the minstrels of the 21st century.
