The latest single from The Dawn Chorus brings a bouncing-bomb of pleasurable indie with a county spin. In fact, this is a great song choice, following up on 'The Hope Will Kill Us' as the second single from their debut album, The Big Adventure. It demonstrates another side to their sound and sticks in quality instrumentation with those classy vocals.
The single is backed with fan-favourite 'Michael' and 'First Name Terms', which is a crispy single-worthy song in its own right.
With their latest album, The Dawn Chorus have suddenly turned into a genuinely impressive prospect that could easily supply something new to the British band-scene, which seriously needs a shot in the arm right now. Every time I listen to a song from The Dawn Chorus, I'm surprised at just how brilliant they are.
