'Lies' is taken from the 51/50s' forthcoming debut album, State of Mind... or so they say! And should we believe them? Well, yes - because that's not the "la la la la la lie" that they're talking about.
This single is a stomping rock and roll track that talks about the liars in the world in a three minute hooky romp. There is a slight hint of Iggy Pop's 'Passenger', but just a flavour and that doesn't really detract from a stonking great single.
