I Concur's second single drills to the soul through sophisticated melodies and mellow symphonies, but they still manage to keep themselves in the realm of indie rock. Dynamically building up and up, the vocals are often left a bit weak in 'Oblige', but second track 'Captors' more than makes up for it.
I Concur have really woken up and it's a powerful track, heavier and much more alive than 'Oblige'. The addition of harsher drums and faster beats has created a much more aggressive side, easily the better of the two.
Culminating in a fantastic crescendo of guitars and drums, they prove their a hugely talented band with bags of potential. Its angular and distinctive, modern rock. They've definitely got what the chart loves right now.
