'One Sees The Sun' from Jim Kroft is like 'I Am The Walrus' era John Lennon singing a Jane Wiedlin classic. It slides from a Scott Walker style orchestral intro in to a Roxette-style palm-muted guitar verse and this is where the glimmer really lives.
There's a really good build up to chorus, which gives it extra punch and there's even some sweet sounding backing vocals on hand to thicken up the impact of the melody.
This song really harks back to the eighties, but delivers the sound in a more authentic way than original synth-pop, thanks to some proper sounding drums and guitars.
