Kodiak Jack first came to our attention on the Showcase Sett compilation and this is the single that they supplied.
'T.H.E.M' is an absolute stomper with rock and roll at its heart. It's got a great big solo to match the growling vocal and crashing drums and it's the kind of thing stadiums everywhere are waiting for.
Flip-side 'My Fake Jesus' is a riff-fuelled rock track with heavy bass and sweet chorus harmonies. It's got an intense instrumental break with awesome drumming and that substantial bass supplying some real weighty sounds.
'Myth Maker' shows another side to their sound, pushing the melody higher and cycling a guitar hook. It feels like there's going to be a huge chorus and after a bit of teasing it arrives.
This is a band that have started off in the best possible way.
