A sound that slots nicely into the current indie scene, Rotating Leslie offer up slices of pop/rock pie to rival such current darlings as The Hoosiers and The Plain White T's. Naughty, naughty boys for being so darn jingly, dancey, rock'n'rolly fantastic, demanding a repeat listen, again and again. A musical grin in a topsy-turvy world that is much in need of grins of this calibre.
They tickle your earbox with a tasty mix of indie rock and electronic wizardry. Rotating Leslie make music to make you move and they make it well.
With infectious beats and well crafted lyrics these boys hit every mark. Single 'Fire!Fire!' is a fine example of their willingness to put some thought into their lyrics with lines like, "you're the reason I lift my heels up", a less traditional angle on the motivations of romance. Clever!Clever!
Second track on the single is the curiously titled 'Piss in the Disco', which offers up more infectious beats and confirms the fact that this is one band that deserves to scramble up that tantalising ladder of success.
