'Digital Luv' from Synikall and featuring Roy Reid, is the antithesis of 50 Cent's 'Ayo Technology'. This is about exploiting the connected world to its full extent, which of course means hooking up with a lady.
Musically, this song takes aspects of the song it counters, twists them around and spins them back out. The synth notes that bubble away in the back of the 50 Cent track are distilled into a digital cascade like slow motion sparks, and the beat is similarly subtle. This song isn't a slick hip-hop track though, its a combination of hip-hop and eighties pop with rhythmic lyrics and stops.
This is an enjoyable track with plenty of character.
