As The Dawn Chorus prepare to return with a new album, The Carnival Leaves Town, they've announced a free download single to get us all in the mood.
'Carnivalesque' reminds us why we love this band - the folky roots and indie sparkle combined into a urban-and-western song of typically excellent proportions.
This single also benefits form the contributions of Frank Turner, who slots into The Dawn Chorus fantastically on this recording (and others on the album!)
The single arrives on February 1st 2010 and you can download it for free to keep you going until the album is released on 22nd February.
