FatCat have announced two special nights on the 16th and 17th May at the stunning 200-year-old Theatre Royal.
Heading up the Friday night line-up is British legend Vashti Bunyan, playing her first show since October's release of Some Things Just Stick In Your Mind, a compilation of her early pop material.
Also on the bill that night are Andy Cabic's uber-cool Vetiver, whose brand new album, Thing Of The Past, will be released later that month; German composer Haushka, whose disruptive 'piano interventions' bring to mind the rhythmic sounds of Steve Reich and John Cage; and North Dakota's golden-voiced folk-roots troubadour Tom Brosseau.
Saturday night sees New York's cult singer-songwriter Nina Nastasia headlining another dream roster with her spectral Americana and smouldering vocal intensity. Also featuring the skewed anthemic rock of Glasgow's The Twilight Sad; the exuberant post-punk Indie of fellow Glasgow-dweller's The Frightened Rabbit; and the fragilie and beautiful Norwegian multi-instrumentalist / singer Silje Nes.
