Hamfatter Post Dragon Follow Up

It's easy to imagine that we were sat here waiting for Hamfatter to either succeed, so we could sing their praises, or fail, so we could punch them in the back of the head on the way down. However, here's what we actually think of Hamfatter's bash at the money-men.

The essence of what Hamfatter are trying to achieve is a big-money album release but with the freedom to remain creative and in control, so anyone slamming them for selling out has the wrong end of the stick.

So, how did they do? Well, I must be cynical because I didn't believe the Dragons would make an offer on a band; maybe they're younger than they look though, as all but one wanted a piece of the action.

In the end, they accepted an offer from Peter Jones that saw them give up thirty percent in exchange for £75,000 to get their next album out there.

So, well done Hamfatter. I didn't think it could be done, but you've done it! We look forward to receiving a copy in the next six months!
