The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) student Elena Tonra and alumni Andrew Davie are both featured on a new compilation album released by new record label Communion, founded by Mumford and Sons band member, Ben Lovett.
The runner-up of the 2009 Shure Songwriting Award, Elena is currently studying on the ICMP's Professional Diploma in Songwriting, while Andrew, an ICMP alumni in vocals, is also the support act for the highly anticipated Mumford and Sons UK tour. Andrew has also recently been highlighted as "one to watch" by industry publication Music Week.
Communion Records was founded in September 2009 by Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones (Cherbourg) and producer Ian Grimble with aims to champion new talent.
