The St Helier Music Crowns 2010 have been announced and the 3 category winners are:- Maria Marcial from Manchester (Pop), Leo LeVox from Birmingham (Urban) and Messiah from Edinburgh (Rock).

The contestants had to submit an original track through the St Helier Music Crowns Website to be analysed by a judging panel which included the likes of Ali Campbell, Skin of Skunk Anansie and Samantha Mumba before the public voted a winner through the official website and official fanpages on Facebook.

The chosen 30 finalists (10 in each category of rock, pop and urban) had the month of August to compose a voting campaign which saw the Music Crowns concept discussed in local newspapers and radio, across the social networking frames of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and MySpace, even BBC radio stations as the contenders battled for the number one spot.

Sam Gilbert, Co-Founder stated "We had 30 very special finalists that we are very proud of and are delighted at the prospect of working with Maria, Leo and the Messiah boys who I should mention are Jack Mylchreest, Lyall Fraser, Jordan Douglas, Bryan Ramsay and Peter Paterson. Exciting times lay ahead."

The winners will be presented their trophies and perform at Cargo, London on Monday, October 11th, 2010.
