The Secret Garden Party is pleased to announce that tickets for the 2010 event are now on sale via the Secret Garden Party website at £145 + booking fee for an adult weekend ticket.
Blooming this July, and following the success of their sold-out Christmas Voyage show at London's Troxy venue last December, Secret Productions have now released tickets for the main event this summer.
The Party is once again set to undergo a transformation, with a theme to be announced soon along with news on this year's performers. Previous Secret Garden Party's have included the like of Grace Jones, Jarvis Cocker, Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, The XX, Reverend and the Makers, Lily Allen, The Noisetttes, Graham Coxon and Echo and the Bunnymen, with the 2010 programme promising to deliver yet more diversity from new and established acts. The full 2010 line-up will be announced soon.
As well as sonic delights there'll be treats for tots and toffs alike. The Secret Garden Party's acclaimed Action Camps return, offering the most off-the-wall interactive programming in the most intimate of spaces - making your own B-movies, posing as a life model, meeting explorers or participating in dance competitions. Art Installations (including Art Boats, Art Cars and Art Islands) will also be a prominent feature with artists at the heart of Burning Man coming over the Atlantic for their UK debut.
New for 2010 is an entire land for young gardeners, featuring Egg Hunts, Fancy Dress, Discos, Kite Flying, Circus shows and workshops, Jewellery Making and Karaoke. For the more mature Gardeners there will be restaurants, food talks, cocktail bars, ale tents, massages and the delights (if your pockets are deep enough!) of the Bellboy-served boutique camp ground. Also new is the Forest, an area of woodland dedicated to acoustic music, barefoot discos and twilight fire circle tales. Elsewhere on site Gardeners can indulge in Parades, Art tents, Walkabout Theatre and Theatre workshops, Big Wheel Rides, Boat Rides, Swimming, Treasure Hunts, Bands in trees, a festival-wide train service, open mic stages and as always, participatory games of all descriptions. For four days the Garden will be an Imaginarium waiting to be discovered.
After the huge success of Boutique Camping in 2009, The Secret Garden Party has advanced things even more, improving the types of accommodation on offer to you, facilities and on-site hospitality.
Boutique camping customers have their own direct road onto the festival site, leading to a private car park, where they are greeted by our boutique bellboys, who are on hand to take their luggage. Once booked in with our friendly boutique managers and receptionists, boutique customers have just a moments stroll from their accommodation and straight into the heart of the festival.
Other facilities include our very own Boutique Butlers, available from Midnight - Midday (perfect for those wanting breakfast in bed, or some midnight treats). For those wanting some serious pampering, The Boutique Sanctuary is open from Friday-Sunday with various treatments available from massages to facials, manicures to pedicures. Book your treatments in advance to avoid disappointment!
Tickets for 2010 are on sale priced at £145 + booking fee. That includes camping, parking, fun, frolics plus all the other hidden extras that usually lurk within a ticket price. Campervans however will be charged an additional £45 for the duration (they take up a lot of space). Teen tickets for 13-17 year olds will be £110 plus booking fee, and as per, under 13's get in free, but will still need to secure a ticket.
